SSgt Noel Eguasi-Acquah AGC (SPS), Co-Chair of the Army Multicultural Network, Army
SSgt Noel Eguasi-Acquah was born in Accra Ghana on 23 July 1983, he had all his formal education in Ghana and graduated from University of Ghana in 2006 with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Philosophy.
He enlisted into the British Army in October 2007 and completed his Basic Training at ATR Pirbright, he then moved on to the Household Calvary Regiment as a Trooper after his Phase 2 and 3 training, during his time with the Household Division, he performed various ceremonial duties including prominent state visits, Trooping The Colours (Queen’s birthday parade), investitures at Buckingham and Windsor Palaces and ceremonial guard duties at White Hall on a daily basis.
In 2010, he transferred to the Adjutant General’s Corps AGC(SPS), where he was trained as Military Personal Administrator; he has since served with 19th Regiment Royal Artillery, 4 Armoured Medical Regiment (now 2Med) and HQ 1st Armoured Infantry Brigade (now 1DRS) where he has worked in various roles including Senior Squadron Administrator, iHUB NCO and Personal Assistant to the Commander, he also recently served with the 5th Battalion the Rifles as Regtl Acct and HQ 12 Armoured Brigade Combat Team as Chief Clerk. He has deployed on various field exercises both local and overseas.
SSgt Eguasi-Acquah is currently serving with HQ 3rd (United Kingdom) Division, where he works as the Financial System Administrator (FSA). SSgt Eguasi-Acquah is also one of the Diversity and Inclusion Advisor in the HQ.
Outside of his day job, SSgt Eguasi-Acquah is a staunch committee member of the Army Multicultural Network and is privileged to be the Co-Chair. He has been involved in many activities, events and commitments of this network and continues to work toward the mission of the Network. As a keen Diversity & Inclusion Adviser he supports the Employment Branch at Army HQ. He also reverse-mentors the Governor of Edinburgh Castle Maj Gen Alastair Bruce of Crionaich OBE VR DL. He is also passionate about Coaching and Mentoring and serves as a role model to many young soldiers.
He is married to Diana, they have 3 lovely children: Noella (9), Kaiden (7) and Jason (5).
SSgt Eguasi-Acquah enjoys reading leadership books, listening to podcasts, walking, cooking, playing table tennis and watching TV. He is an all-round athlete, a retired footballer at Regt level and a keen Chelsea FC fan.
