Peter Lovell, Global Head of Defence and Security, PA Consulting, shares his message of support
For over a decade PA has supported Women in Defence as its founding partner and I am personally hugely proud to continue that support as our Global Head of Defence and Security. Every year it is a real honour for us to present the Woman of the Year Award and hear the inspirational stories of the women shortlisted.
At PA we’re embedding inclusion and diversity into everything we do to create a culture where our people feel inspired and empowered. Every day, we endeavour to be active allies and create a more inclusive culture that offers equal opportunities and supports diversity in all its forms. We will continue to hold ourselves to the highest possible standards.
We know gender balance will not happen by chance – in our business or in the defence and security sector as a whole. It will require a concerted and collaborative effort across the enterprise to change the overall dynamics of the sector and make defence a better place for women and men - ultimately, improving output.
We look forward to continuing to recognise and celebrate the incredible achievements of those working to make a difference in the defence and security sector.
