Katharine Sealy

Katharine Sealy is the Services Director for Thales’ global Under Water Systems business. Katharine leads teams at the heart of providing critical support to UK and Allied Navies undertaking Mine Hunting and Anti Submarine Warfare missions, wherever they are in the world. This support includes delivery of the £1.8bn Maritime Sensor Enhancement Team (MSET) contract focussed on maximising days at sea for the UK Royal Navy by providing long-term availability and resilience of critical naval assets.
Katharine has worked within the Defence sector for the duration of her career having previously worked at Northrop Grumman UK Ltd, most recently as Managing Director of its National Security Solutions (NSS) Business, and at Rolls-Royce PLC where she trained in commercial management, working in their Defence Aerospace business in the UK and on an international secondment to Spain.
Katharine also serves as Co-Chair of the Women in Defence Charter Board, representing Industry, where she supports leadership of the Board including shaping the strategy and direction for the Charter.
