Sgt Shannon Rogers

Shannon Rogers is a Sergeant in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), currently serving as an Inclusion Non-Commissioned Officer within Army Personnel.
With a practical, people-focused approach, Shannon supports efforts to create respectful, inclusive environments where personnel can perform at their best. Her work involves contributing to culture change initiatives, supporting leaders, and helping embed inclusive practices into everyday working life.
Shannon is particularly interested in how modern approaches, such as reverse mentoring and innovative learning methods, can support engagement and development across the workforce. She designed and piloted the Army’s first reverse mentoring programme, which has now been approved for full rollout.
Alongside this role, Shannon has recently achieved CIPD chartership following the completion of an MSc, further developing her knowledge of people practice and organisational development. Committed to continuous learning and improvement, she aims to make a positive, lasting contribution to both people and performance within Defence.
