Promoting women in tech goes right back to the start for Sopra Steria, with two of our founding companies having been started by trailblazers Ann Budge, Allison Newell and Stephanie ‘Steve’ Shirley. Today, we remain committed to ensuring that talented women can thrive in our business.


My part of the organisation, Aerospace, Defence and Security, serves sub-sectors that have some way to go in their pursuit of gender balance. By supporting internal and external networking programmes, growing our Women’s Network, educating our business about the value that diversity brings and supporting exemplary initiatives like Women in Defence, I’m confident that we can effect meaningful change.
