Women in Defence UK are at DSEi on Wed 13th Sep. If you are planning to be there that day, why not join us?

We are hosting a panel session in the Land Theatre from 1600 to 1650. This is in collaboration with the Women in Defence Charter and brings together experts from across defence and internationally to address how a cognitively diverse workforce can bring strategic advantage and what the UK can do to attain it. We are delighted to lead a discussion on why diversity is a strategic need, not just a nice thing to do, and delve into what we can learn from our existing acquisition approaches and how they might apply to the diversity demand.

Our speakers include:

  • V Adm Philip Hally, Chief of Defence People, UK Ministry of Defence
  • Ruth Cairnie FEI, Chair, Babcock International Group
  • HE Judith Gough CMG, British Ambassador to Sweden
  • Dr David Banks, Lecturer in War Studies (Wargaming), Kings College London
